Bucket Trucks for Telecommunications
Versalift in the Telecommunications Industry
Bucket trucks are central to organizations that play a role in maintaining and servicing the millions of miles of cabling and hardware that support the telecommunications Industry. Because a significant share of data, access and bandwidth is distributed to homes and businesses through overhead means, bucket trucks that support fixed-wire and fiber optic telecommunications networks can be found throughout cities and villages, in suburbs, industrial parks and central business districts. To this end, bucket trucks are among the most important tools for making sure that telecommunications technicians can do their jobs effectively and efficiently. Versalift is proud of its tradition of innovation: more than 30 years ago, Versalift invented the Articulated Telescopic Bucket Truck, and it has been refined over the decades to deliver the safest, most reliable and highest quality bucket trucks to its customers in the telecommunications industry.
With a family of distribution, parts and service centers, Versalift is dedicated to helping our customers in the telecommunications space keep their technicians operating at peak efficiency. Versalift has earned its strong reputation for service and quality, and we did that by keeping our customers’ trucks out on the road.
Versalift supports hundreds of telecommunications maintenance fleets around the world. In a booming market like telecommunications, where customers are fickle and competition is intense, it is vital that you are confident in your equipment. This fact is made more clear when you aren’t sure when things go wrong, and you need all of your people and equipment on the job. If you are responsible for maintaining a municipal, private, local or regional telecom network, Versalift’s high-quality, safe and reliable catalog of bucket trucks is going to be a key ingredient in your success.
The Versalift Fleet of Bucket Trucks for Telecommunication.
Versalift bucket trucks come in working heights from 29’ to 219’ and can be customized in thousands of ways. One feature that comes standard on every Versalift bucket truck is ElectroGuard, which includes a 42” insulation gap that prevents electrical current from arcing from the boom to the pedestal. This is more than double the insulation gap length of our competitors. While many telecommunications-oriented bucket trucks do not require insulation, many customers prefer to go the extra mile and provide this additional protection in their fleets. Many of our customers in the telecommunications industry favor the VANTEL series that we offer. The augmented storage capacity and organized rack and shelving systems are features within our VANTEL line that match the needs and preferences of telecommunications technicians. We work directly with your fleet managers to design custom solutions that provide the tools and configurations that exactly match your specific requirements..

Unique Versalift Features
At Versalift, the culture of bucket truck innovation and quality powers the work we do every day. All of our own advancements, with a few exceptions, are available on our line of bucket trucks. For example, torque striping, which is an extra step that we take to ensure quality, allows truck and lift operators to quickly visually inspect the security of critical bolts and pins. Because safety is at the heart of everything we do, dual pin retention is another Versalift advantage. Dual pin retention means that every critical pin on the bucket truck and lift assembly has a redundant pin-set, which is then torque striped. At Versalift, safety is our priority, and the redundant systems on our bucket trucks prove that. Another differentiator of Versalift is our non-lube lift bearings, which require little to no maintenance and are designed to last the life of the truck.
Non-lube lift bearings are a good example of how Versalift bucket trucks are engineered to the highest standard of quality so that they last safely and reliably.
